Practical training, with theoretical classes at your own pace, live masterclasses and practices in regenerative farms in the Meso-Andean region. Certified by UCI and endorsed by the Savory Institute.
For those who live off the land... and want to leave it better than they found it.
We know that today being a cattle rancher is not easy. The rains are more intense. Droughts are longer. Inputs go up and what you earn for your animals changes every month. That's why you need practical tools to make your farm more productive, resilient and profitable, taking care of the most valuable thing: your soil.
What is this program?
This course was created by and for farmers in our region. It arises from the alliance between the University for International Cooperation (UCI) and the Hubs of the Savory Institute in Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina, to adapt holistic management to our productive realities.
Who should take this course?
Why is this program different?
Module 1 is virtual and you can follow it at your own pace, in which all the theoretical part of Holistic Management applied to regenerative livestock farming is addressed. This module contains five units:
This module will include live masterclasses, on specific days and dates, where each topic of Holistic Management and its application in different realities, environments and contexts will be addressed in depth, allowing to understand in a practical way how to implement this methodology according to each specific need. We will have at least 6 masterclasses with recognized experts covering the following topics:
There will be on-farm practices, where each participant will work on the development and adjustment of plans according to the needs of their own productive reality. There will be 6 days of immersion in Holistic Management, focused on understanding in depth the implementation of the plans and the key steps to advance in the transition to a truly regenerative production. In addition, these practices will be carried out in regenerative farms, which will allow to demonstrate in the field the implementation of Holistic Management and to learn directly from real and successful experiences.
