Types of scholarships:
Socioeconomic support scholarships.
For those who meet the requirements for admission to an academic program, but face economic limitations or situations of social vulnerability that hinder access to higher education. Each application is evaluated by the UCI Scholarship Committee, considering the applicant's socioeconomic situation, academic merit and the availability of institutional resources.
Scholarships for academic assistance.
The academic assistance scholarship program allows students to collaborate in academic or institutional activities while receiving an economic benefit in the form of a scholarship. Activities may include:
- Support for academic or research projects
- Collaboration in university extension activities
- Support in the organization of academic events
- Preparation of educational or communication materials
Scholarships associated with special programs.
They are awarded to individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, professional or community leadership, relevant contributions in scientific, environmental or social areas, and innovative initiatives or social impact. These scholarships are developed within the framework of international alliances, cooperation programs and agreements with academic institutions, international organizations, foundations and companies, for example:
