Research, extension and linkage

At the University for International Cooperation (UCI) we are committed to taking the university beyond the classroom, focusing our research efforts on the implementation of regeneration, the promotion of social well-being and the solution of real problems. Through the application of knowledge obtained in research to specific situations, UCI plays an active role in promoting innovation, regenerative development and improving the quality of life both locally and globally. Our applied research provides the university community with the opportunity to acquire practical skills, preparing themselves to face real-world challenges and become agents of change in their respective areas.
We conceive extension as a dynamic process of dialogue of knowledge, recognizing different forms of knowledge, where exchange and communication between university and community (global and local) is vital for the construction of knowledge.
UCI, through various initiatives and projects, as well as participation in networks and work committees, remains in constant communication with various actors at a local and global level.
